Mazda to reveal first battery EV
Mazda Motor Corporation will debut its first mass-production battery electric vehicle (EV) at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
The EV will be the third instalment in Mazda’s new-generation line-up.
Mazda New Zealand managing director David Hodge says he is looking forward to seeing the new EV at the show.
“As a country with a strong renewable energy profile, we’re excited at the prospect of adding this model to our showroom and to further demonstrate our commitment towards delivering a sustainable motoring experience in a uniquely Mazda way.”
The new model focuses on Mazda’s human centric philosophy and making full use of the benefits of electric drive technology.
Press days are October 23 from 11am to 9pm NZST and October 24, 11am to 2.30pm.
The show is open to the public from October 25 to November 4.
