Electric vehicles recognised in Stuff’s Top Cars

The Tesla Model 3 and Jaguar I-Pace has won top executive car and top electric vehicle in Stuff’s annual Top Cars awards.

It celebrates the best cars, utes and vans test-driven in the past 12 months, tested under different categories. Toyota’s RAV4 took out the top car of 2019.

The awards were judged by motoring writers David Linklater, Damien O’Carroll, Richard Bosselman and Rob Maetzig.

“Of the categories in Top Cars, six winners are powered by high-voltage electricity in some form which shows how much the automotive industry is investing in this technology,” Stuff motoring channel director David Linklater says.

The Audi e-tron won two awards, taking out top luxury SUV and top interior.
