Morphoz EV adapts to user wishes
Renault’s electric concept car Morphoz which illustrates its future mobility vision will be revealed at the Geneva International Motorshow on March 3 and 4.
The company will also debut its new Twingo Z.E. (left-hand drive and Europe only) and new Mégane Estate E-Tech plug-in – among a range of eight vehicles it will display.
The modular Morphoz, which Renault says “adapts to the personal needs, desires and uses of each user”, previews a new family of Renault electric models due to arrive in coming years.
The Kangoo Z.E. concept will make a return for its Geneva debut. An urban and electric show car, it previews the renewal of the Kangoo range in 2020.
Its Dacia brand, which is going electric, will preview its EV city car.
Renault continues to electrify its range through its hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain ‘E-Tech’ on three flagship models – the new Clio, Captur and Mégane Estate.
Dacia is entering the electric market and will present a 100% electric showcar, which capitalises on Groupe Renault’s almost 10 years’ experience in electric mobility.
In 2019, Groupe Renault sold nearly 3.8 million vehicles, employs more than 180,000 people and has 40 manufacturing sites and 12,700 points of sale in 134 countries.
It has five brands (Renault, Dacia, Renault Samsung Motors, Alpine and Lada) and an alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors.
