EV uptake in New Zealand is the topic covered by Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) chief executive Andrew Caseley on the first day of EVtalk’s inaugural EVs and Beyond conference at the Waiheke Island Resort, March 16 and 17.

Tied in with that subject are talks by Motor Industry Association (MIA) of New Zealand chief executive David Crawford about when NZ will see a greater choice of new and cheaper EV models, and the importing of second-hand EVs, the latter covered by Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA) chief executive David Vincent.

Teslas, a Mercedes-Benz EQC, a Fuso eCanter truck, a Polaris and a host of Nissan Leafs will be displayed at an EVs and Beyond expo and public open day on March 14 at the Waiheke Sports Club, the Causeway, Ostend.
