Charging stations to continue: ChargeNet

ChargeNet NZ logo 1ChargeNet NZ says it can continue to monitor and maintain its charging network during the Covid-19 alert four status.

“We provide critical infrastructure and are depended upon to facilitate your travel,” ChargeNet says.

“Whilst that travel will now be curtailed for many of us in the coming weeks, a significant number of EV owners work in essential services that will remain operating even at level four, including health workers, supermarket workers, and home delivery drivers.

“Our systems, being cloud based, mean that we can continue to monitor and maintain the network. Our 24/7 0800 2 CHARGE emergency support line will still be available as always.”

No new charging stations may be possible in the meantime, while repairs could be affected too, ChargeNet says.

“We will continue to make any repairs with the assistance of our field support suppliers, but repair times may be impacted.

“We will keep Network Status Page, Map and App fully updated of any outages and the likelihood of how long these will last. RFID fob deliveries will also be impacted during this time, and we urge you to download the app, or use the website to manage your charging sessions.”
