Jackson Industries still busy
Auckland-based Jackson Industries continues to be busy supplying essential electrical goods such as EV charging products, both prior to and during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Fortunately, Jackson had just completed a large IT systems project of its phones and remote connection upgrades, allowing its teams to all work from home and fully connect to the business servers, phones and other company aspects.
“This has allowed us to continue to support the broader business of our temporary power distribution, plus the office soft wiring and EV charging products,” business development manager Greg Macready says.
“We recently had a run on Lifeguard power distribution products for refrigeration containers which we manufacture in Auckland.
Prior to the lockdown our hire and service department had been busy supplying Lifeguard products to essential services to aid them in their site electrical reticulation needs.”
Jackson advanced engineering and architectural teams also continue to work from home on some of the company’s product development elements and as much customer project related work and design as possible.
All in all, a successful and busy transition, Macready adds.
