SsangYong says the E100 adopts a new approach to body design, while utilising the latest materials to maximise efficiency.

The overall design has generous proportions with an aerodynamic profile and sealed front grille. For maximised energy efficiency, light-weight materials have been utilised including an all-aluminium bonnet – a first for SsangYong.

SsangYong says it expects the E100 to bring a significant addition to the marketplace with a future-focused design for both the interior and exterior, and a new level of product quality.

As a global vehicle, the E100 was developed and tested in various environments including Australia’s harsh and unpredictable climate.

“We most certainly aim to have the E100 here early in 2021,” New Zealand SsangYong agency Great Lake Motor Distributors general manager Andrew Bayliss says.
