Auckland Council temporarily suspends Neuron e-scooter operation
Auckland Council has directed Neuron Mobility to temporarily suspend its e-scooter operations in the city with immediate effect.
The move follows the Greater Auckland region from Wellsford to Pukekohe being placed under level three COVID-19 restrictions.
Neuron Mobility says that riders who are currently using a three-day, weekly or monthly pass will have a completely new pass issued (regardless of how many days have been used on their current pass).
It says once e-scooter services resume these will be valid for use.
Customers seeking a partial refund of their current pass may email the company at mailto:community@news.neuron.sg
“We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation carefully and we look forward to resuming a safe and efficient service in Auckland when the situation allows,” Neuron Mobility says.
