Skoda electric SUV debuts September 1
Skoda presents its first all-electric SUV to the world in Prague on September 1.
The Skoda Enyaq iV marks a new era for the Czech car manufacturer with its design based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular electrification toolkit (MEB).
It offers a generous interior and a sustainable yet fun driving experience, with the distinctive Skoda grille set further forward and upright to enhance the look, Skoda says.
Skoda exterior design head Karl Neuhold explains the design features in a video
interview.
Five different power options and three battery sizes are offered, the Skoda Enyaq iV having up to 500km range.
Depending on the version, it will have rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a rear motor driving entry-level models with a second motor added at the front for more powerful versions.
Three charging options are available too.
More details are expected to be released around the launch.
