Drive EV offers VW ID.3
Arrival dates for Volkswagen’s new electric ID range have yet to be confirmed, Volkswagen New Zealand saying the ID.4 is likely to come first in late 2022 followed by the ID.3.
But Taupo EV dealership Drive EV isn’t waiting and has several VW ID.3s on the way while also advertising a new ID.3 Pro first edition in Moonstone Grey for possible January delivery and selling for $87,990.
When Drive EV owner/operator Steve Greenwood heard that the ID.3 may not make it to New Zealand and if it does will be a few years away he decided to do it himself.
He says that after earlier selling the VW e-Golf, interest is keen in the next chapter of VW emission-free mobility through the ID range.
Greenwood says the ID.3 first edition has about 418km range from its 58kW/h battery, a performance upgrade, 100kW DC and 11kW AC charging, exclusive design features and much more.

“I’m pretty excited about it and I think the ID range will be popular.”
All Drive EV vehicles come with a free three-year battery/EV system warranty from the build date.
