Jeep to reveal electric Wrangler

Jeep has teased its upcoming all-electric Wrangler to be revealed at the “Easter Jeep Safari” in Moab, Utah.

The battery electric (BEV) Wrangler concept features in Jeep’s The Road Ahead, a new web page launched during Jeep’s Super Bowl commercial.

It shows a silhouette of the BEV wrangler and then what appears to be its battery pack and chassis.

No other details are provided.

The Easter Jeep Safari is planned for March 28 to April 3 at the Old Spanish Trail Arena in Utah.

It’s run by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers which initially posted that the event was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions limiting gatherings to under 250 people, but then on February 4 said the event was back on.

Moab is also the site of a Jeep solar powered charging station. Another is planned at the Rubicon Trail in California with the aim of establishing them at Jeep Badge of Honour trails throughout the US.

The brand wants to have its full line-up feature plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) by 2025.
