Henderson hosts eworld May 6-8
Transport minister Michael Wood and Norwegian EV Association leader Christina Bu are among key speakers at the eworld expo and conference in The Trusts Arena at Henderson in Auckland.
The e-mobility and sustainable technologies event, run by Conferenz, from May 6-8 includes a trade day with seminars on May 7, a free public expo day on May 8, and the EVs and Sustainable Transport Conference on May 6 and 7 which focuses on decarbonising New Zealand’s transport system.
Conference themes include the need to electrify New Zealand’s fleet; batteries, components and parts (rEVving up EVs); what’s here and what’s to come, plus six case studies on transport electrification.
The case studies involve both heavy and light fleets and involve Alsco NZ, Foodstuffs NZ, Toll NZ, the Hutt City Council and EV consultancy Retyna.

Visitors will see the latest EVs including vans and trucks, check out what’s available or coming, see displays from infrastructure providers, learn from experts, and do test drives (available on request).
