Lightning sneak peek during Biden address
US president Joe Biden drove the Ford F-150 Lightning truck during a visit to a Ford testing centre in Dearborn, Michigan, just ahead of the electric pickup’s reveal.
The truck will be revealed May 20 our time although one was on stage behind Biden during his speech.
The son of a car salesman, Biden is a car fan and has a 1967 Stingray Corvette.

Biden talked about the automotive industry and EVs, saying America needed to crack on with production of new technologies such as EV batteries and semiconductor chips.
