ChargeNet tag makes minister’s expense report

Proof that ministers are moving to EVs comes with newly released MPs’ credit card expenses details such as those for Health and Treaty of Waitangi negotiations minister Andrew Little.

His credit card expenses include $6 for a ChargeNet NZ fob (black) with the breakdown showing the unit cost at $1 and shipping at $5 to use for charging his ministerial self-drive vehicle (no – it’s not an autonomous vehicle).

Little also claimed for an Uber trip in Christchurch worth $31.81 on his ministerial credit card reconciliation form, although he generally uses public transport when he can.

We’re seeking further information from Little, such as what his EV might be.
