Kiwi customers to receive My BMW App updates

BMW Group New Zealand has introduced new features for the My BMW App, to elevate the user experience while bringing new levels of technology and convenience.

Most of the new features that have launched will initially be available exclusively on the all-electric BMW iX, which will launch in New Zealand within weeks, and filter down to other models in the future.

The new features include: BMW Digital Key Plus, Tyre Pressure Indicator, Remote Theft Recorder and calendar synchronisation for navigation. In addition, Remote Key Plus allows smartphone to unlock, start and lock the vehicle while the device is in pocket.

The My BMW App launched earlier this year, replacing the BMW Connected App, and brought with it an entirely new design and a clean, simplified interface.

BMW BEV and PHEV models benefited from specific functionality upon its launch. This included a charging history feature, which shows information about previous charging sessions including location, timestamps and charging time.
