Livestream for World EV Day
Drive Electric and ABB are collaborating on a panel discussion on World EV Day, Friday September 9, from 9am to 10am.
Insights will be provided from several New Zealand businesses at the forefront of the EV movement.
World EV Day will also feature in the September EVs and Beyond magazine, with this year a landmark one for electric transport in New Zealand.
It has included the launch of the full Clean Car Programme and the release of the Emissions Reduction Plan and supporting policies that facilitate more sustainable transport.
Several Kiwi businesses have taken the lead in smart charging, car sharing, marine mobility and electric motorbikes, while there has also been commitment from several major corporations to electrify their fleets.
EVs on our roads have increased to more than 50,000.
Fantastic progress has been made, but there is still plenty of work to do, says ABB NZ.
Kirsten Corson of Zilch and Drive Electric will lead a panel of industry experts from ABB, Z Energy NZ, Singer Electric and Audi New Zealand to discuss the many issues surrounding the future of e-mobility here.
The panel includes ABB New Zealand electrification business smart power and smart buildings vice president Duncan Baker, Z Energy e-mobility head Kieran Turner, Singer Electric managing director Jeff McLaren, and Audi New Zealand dealer development and training manager Duane Jarrett.
Register to attend the livestream, with a viewing link to be sent to registered attendees on September 8.
Those unable to attend will be able to access a recording of the panel discussion later.
