Video: ABB commemorates World EV Day +20

The death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 aged 96 and the following mourning period, public holidays and her September 19 funeral delayed many World EV Day commemorations, now on Thursday September 29.

World EV Day was due to be held on September 9, so ABB and Drive Electric have released a panel discussion video in time for September 29, although it was livestreamed earlier.

It covers EV charging – especially hyper-rapid journey charging – shorter charging times, plus battery technology and other e-mobility related matters.

The panel of experts from ABB, Z Energy NZ, Singer Electric and Audi New Zealand was chaired by Zilch EV car-sharing service co-founder and executive director and Drive Electric member Kirsten Corson.

Drive Electric also had a message for World EV Day.
