World EV Day commemoration

We’re helping commemorate World EV Day on Friday, September 9, producing our monthly EVs and Beyond magazine to mark the occasion.

Drive Electric and ABB have a livestream panel discussion on the day from 9am to 10am. Register to attend the livestream, where you will be sent the viewing link in the autoresponder email, and have the option to add it to your calendar as a invite option.

Insights will be provided from several New Zealand businesses at the forefront of the EV movement.

Kirsten Corson of Zilch and Drive Electric will lead a panel of industry experts from ABB, Z Energy NZ, Singer Electric and Audi New Zealand to discuss the many issues surrounding the future of e-mobility here. 

The panel includes ABB New Zealand electrification business smart power and smart buildings vice president Duncan Baker, Z Energy e-mobility head Kieran Turner who also features in EVs and Beyond September magazine, Singer Electric managing director Jeff McLaren, and Audi New Zealand dealer development and training manager Duane Jarrett.

Fantastic progress has been made but there is still plenty of work to do, says ABB NZ, which expects to issue a World EV Day report.

It’s an independent research study among 2500 parents and children globally looking at their attitudes to sustainability and driving electric.
