An electric Dodge Charger has been spotted on the new Fast & Furious movie set, while a recently launched Delorean Alpha5 EV has also reportedly been filmed.

Filming for the final Fast & Furious has begun in Los Angeles, with the two EVs seen on set and two YouTube videos showing the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT electric concept leaving after a day’s filming, posing the suggestion that main character Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) might switch from a 1970 Dodge Charger to the EV.

It’s reported the final Fast & Furious film will be in two parts, although both are apparently being filmed at the same time.

A Dodge Charger Daytona SRT “Banshee” concept was announced in August, with little detail given other than it has an 800V all-wheel-drive system and a “Fratzonic” exhaust which produces up to 126 decibels of noise rather than emissions.
