The Tesla supercharging station at the Golflands Karamu Golf Club in Mangateretere (between Napier and Hastings, Havelock North and Taradale) is in flood waters, probably from the Karamu Stream which runs through the golf course.

If a supercharger post has two cables, non-Tesla cars can only charge with the CCS connector, and usually Tesla owners can charge another EV using their Tesla app.

Tesla says it is unable to accommodate vehicles that do not fully comply with CCS communication and safety protocols.

Reports suggests a non-Tesla EV can use low-powered Tesla chargers using a J1772 adapter which lets other electric cars charge up using both Tesla Wall Connector and Tesla Mobile Connector.
