NZ Tesla Model 3 and Y prices cut to lowest ever

Tesla has changed the pricing on its New Zealand range, taking them to the lowest ever level.
The price of a standard-range Model 3 is now just $62,500 before on-road costs, making the driveway price $64,587.
That puts the Model 3’s net price at $57,572 net of the $7015 rebate.
This makes the car now cheaper than the long-range MG ZS EV, and just $10 more than the regular price of a BYD Atto 3 Extended Range. It should be noted the Atto is currently on a ‘long-term’ special price of $59,990.
The cost of a Model 3 Performance has dropped from $95,900 to $93,500.

Meanwhile the standard Model Y’s price has fallen sub-$70,000, now sitting at $67,500 before inroads, or $69,587 on the road. Chop the $7015 rebate off and the net on-road cost is $62,572.
The Model Y was previously $70,900. The Performance version has also fallen in price, from $100,900 to $97,500.
Both models are showing relatively immediate delivery – noting this month and August as potential delivery dates.
