Tokyo E-prix ‘challenging’ for Jaguar

JaguarTCS-Racing-TokyoEPrix

In spite of a “challenging day” at the inaugural ABB FIA Formula E Tokyo E-Prix, Kiwi Jaguar TCS Racing drivers Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy gained valuable points.

Jaguar TCS Racing stays top of the Teams’ World Championship standings with a 17-point margin while Cassidy is second in the Drivers’ World Championship, with Evans sixth.

Cassidy started on the grid in 19th position and climbed to eighth while Evans finished both his and the team’s 100th race in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in 15th place after a minor collision forced him to have the nose replaced on his Jaguar I-Type 6.

Evans and Cassidy head to Milano in Italy for Round Six and Seven on April 13 and 14, with Cassidy just two points behind Drivers’ World Championship leader Tag Heuer Porsche FE team’s Pascal Wehrlein’s 63 points.
