ChargeNet unaffected by Tritium situation

ChargeNet has Tritium EV chargers across its network but ChargeNet chief executive Danusia Wypych says ChargeNet manages its own maintenance units.

“The situation at Tritium has not impacted our operations,” she says.

“We have heard the news about Tritium.

“We have good relationships with the team there, having been early supporters of their market innovation.

“It is a tough time for them, and our thoughts are with the Tritium team.”

Wypych says that with ChargeNet’s proactive programmes the Tritium chargers deliver an above-industry-average uptime of 96%.

Reports suggest some potential buyers are interested in Tritium, including Evie Networks, BP and Shell.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) released this notice in April, advising of a May 1 meeting, and receivers are hoping for a good outcome.

Tritiium’s website remains active.
