Evans second after ABB FE final round

Kiwi driver Mitch Evans is second overall in the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E Drivers’ standings won by TAG Heuer Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein,

Fellow Kiwi and Jaguar TCS Racing teammate Nick Cassidy finished out of the running in spite of leading the Drivers’ standings coming into the final London double-header on July 20 and 21, although Jaguar did win the Teams’ championship.

Evans finished third in the July 21 event, while Cassidy retired and placed third in the series behind Evans.

Jaguar also won the Manufacturer’s Trophy with 455 points.

Nissan Formula E Team driver Oliver Rowland won the last race on his home soil and Wehrlein was second.

The next series (Season 11) starts in Brazil’s Sao Paulo on December 7 this year, followed by the Mexico City race on January 11, 2025.

Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover plans to stop producing its electric Jaguar I-Pace in December 2024, although Jaguar intends to go fully electric by 2025.
