Jeep Avenger BEV pre-launch price drop
The Jeep Avenger battery electric vehicle (BEV has a pre-launch price adjustment starting from $49,990 (MSRP) – expected to save up to $20,000 – and will be available in September.
It’s offered in three trims in Australia – Longitude ($49,990 MSRP), Limited ($54,990 MSRP) and Summit ($60,990 MSRP).
In New Zealand, the Jeep Avenger Limited – Launch Edition model is now priced from $49,990 while stocks last.
Designed and built in Europe the Jeep Avenger suits off-road and city life, says the brand.
The front-wheel drive Jeep has Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control as standard, 200mm ground clearance, is based on the new e-CMP2 modular electric platform, has a 10.5m turning circle and weighs 1520kg.
Its electric powertrain combines a 400-volt electric motor offering up to 396km range (WLTP) in the Avenger Longitude and Limited variants, and produces115kW power and 260Nm torque.
The Jeep Avenger BEV is available in Ruby, Volcano, Stone, Lake, Sun, Granite, and Snow.
The Jeep Avenger was European Car of the Year 2023, World’s Best Family SUV in the Women’s World Car of the Year Awards, Electric Car of the Year in TopGear.com Electric Awards 2023, Best Small Car at Autocar Awards 2023 and Small BEV Autovista Group Residual Value Award 2023.
The Avenger has been designed to offer 360° plastic-cladding protection, which covers the complete lower surroundings of the vehicle, and full freedom of movement.
It can fit five people comfortably and is 4.08 metres, provides 34 litres of interior storage, as well as a metre-wide trunk.
Standard fast charging mode allows 30km (average daily need) recharging in about three minutes, and to go from 20% to 80% in around 24 minutes, using 100kW DC charging.
A series of safety and ADAS features provide level-2 driving autonomy including blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking with vulnerable road users (pedestrian and cyclist) protection, automatic parking and a 180-degree rear camera with drone view.
A 10.25-inch radio screen Uconnect Infotainment is combined with a full 10.25-inch digital cluster as standard.
Jeep Avenger Longitude and Limited offer energy consumption at 15.6kWh per 100km (WLTP).
Aerodynamics contributes to efficiency and range, offering a drag coefficient down to 0.33.
The Jeep Avenger supports three different charging modes – equipped with a CCS Combo Type 2 socket enabling domestic/public AC and public DC fast charging and has a Mode 3 charging cable as standard.
