Ferrari’s first electric supercar in 2025

Ferrari hybrid 296 GTB

Ferrari expects its electric supercar will be unveiled late next year.

So says Bloomberg which quotes Ferrari chief executive Benedetto Vigna at the Italian Tech Week (September 25-27).

He reckons Ferrari will rely on some “unusual partners” to develop the new EV, due to be built at Ferrari’s new Italian é-building powered by renewable energy, where electric motors, battery packs, and power inverters will also be made and assembled.

Ferrari produced the hybrid SF90 Stradale in 2023 and expects about 60% of its vehicles to be fully electric or hybrid by 2026.

Meanwhile, global EV demand is cooling, says Stuff.

It says Vigna also warned earlier this year that China’s EV emergence should be a wakeup call for the European automotive sector.
