Tesla did about 470,000 EVs in third quarter 2024

Tesla says it produced about 470,000 EVs and delivered around 463,000 globally while also deploying 6.9GWh of energy storage products in the third quarter.

Most of the EVs Tesla produced and delivered are Model 3s and Model Ys (443,668 produced and 439,975 delivered).

The total global delivery result is about 6.4% up on the same time last year.

Tesla says it will post its financial results for the third quarter of 2024 after market close on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

“At that time, Tesla will issue a brief advisory containing a link to the Q3 2024 update, which will be available on Tesla’s Investor Relations website.

“Tesla management will hold a live question and answer webcast that day at 4.30pm. Central Time (5.30pm Eastern Time) to discuss the company’s financial and business results and outlook.”

The webcast will also be available on the Tesla website about two hours after the Q&A session, says Tesla.
