Zeekr may arrive by year’s end, confirms managing director

The managing director for Zeekr Australia and New Zealand has confirmed the brand’s vehicles could arrive in New Zealand by the end of the year.

In an interview with Auto Media Group at the Sydney International EV Autoshow, Connal Yan confirmed that Zeekr plans to bring its vehicles to New Zealand by late 2024 or early 2025.

“Hopefully, we can bring the brand to New Zealand by the end of this year, if not early in 2025,” he said.

Yan emphasised the importance of the New Zealand market, stating, “New Zealand, it’s a market that we value highly. We believe it’s a significant market for us at the moment.”
