Zeekr unveils next-generation innovations

Zeekr recently unveiled its next-generation innovations at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

The Zeekr FR 001 shooting brake, the Zeekr 009 Grand MPV, and the Zeekr MIX SUV were displayed on the convention centre floor in Las Vegas. 

The company also showcased its approach to constantly upgrading products by co-creating with customers and partners and its plans to extend the world’s best offering to global markets.

Zeekr believes hardware and software engineering is crucial to offering safe and comfortable autonomous driving journeys. 

Zeekr unveiled its all-new self-designed intelligent driving domain controller, the first for an OEM that integrates the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor system-on-a-chip (SoC) running on the safety-certified DriveOS. 

The soon-to-be-mass-produced domain controller powered by NVIDIA’s accelerated computing will be released in 2025 as a new model capable of handling multiple intelligent driving scenarios and parking capabilities.

In addition, Zeekr will extend its partnership with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. to offer global customers a more immersive infotainment experience. Featuring the updated, more powerful Qualcomm system-on-chip (SoC), Zeekr models provide users with a more intelligent cockpit experience at a high-efficiency level.

Zeekr RT, some of which are already undergoing real-world road testing, will be the world’s first mass-produced purpose-built vehicle for autonomous mobility. Zeekr will begin delivering mass-produced Zeekr RTs to Waymo for further testing this year, preparing for a future public robotaxi launch.

Currently, Zeekr vehicles are equipped with an 800V ultra-fast charging e-powertrain, and Zeekr is the largest ultra-fast charging network operator, with over 800 ultra-fast charging stations in China. 

Zeekr is unveiling its global fast-charging network strategy to build an all-around energy service ecosystem. The strategy will deploy thousands of Zeekr-branded charging piles in key international markets, including Thailand and Australia.

According to the manufacturer, the Zeekr 001 FR is a shooting brake that offers the best possible balance of luxury, comfort, and ultra-performance. 

It says the Zeekr 009 Grand is the four-seater version of the electric Zeekr 009 MPV, and the Zeekr MIX is a family five-seater SUV that combines a capsule-style exterior with innovative packaging to maximise in-cabin space.
