Nordic EV Summit 2025 hosts

Electric mobility champions Ellen Hiep and Lars Godbolt host the Nordic EV Summit on April 9 and 10, 2025, in Oslo, Norway.

Hiep is a prominent advocate for electric mobility, serving as a board member of the Dutch Electric Vehicle Drivers Association (Vereniging Elektrische Rijders-VER) and HiePRactief chief executive, a communications agency specialising in smart e-mobility.

Her extensive experience includes being a member of the steering committee of the Global EV Alliance (GEVA), a network that connects more than  65 national EV drivers’ associations from nearly 35 countries.

GEVA facilitates global collaboration on best practices, policies, education, and other EV-related initiatives.

Lars Lund Godbolt has been passionate about cars all his life and is an environmentalist who has fully embraced the EV transition.

With a background in technology, innovation, and culture from the University of Oslo, Godbolt has specialised in innovation within infrastructure systems.

His career has been dedicated to promoting sustainability in the transport sector in Norway and across Europe and he is a leading expert in Norwegian EV policy and charging infrastructure at the Norwegian EV Association, says the latest Nordic EV Summit newsletter.

Known for his ability to simplify complex topics, Godbolt brings more than a decade of presentation experience to his inaugural role as host of the Nordic EV Summit, it says.

The summit will gather leaders from vehicle manufacturing, charging companies, the mineral and battery industry, as well as policymakers and organisations, to share insights and discuss the future of electric mobility.

Attendees can look forward to engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and a celebration of Norway’s progress towards its ambitious goal of selling only zero-emission vehicles by 2025, the newsletter says.

Many Kiwis, including EVs and Beyond representatives, have attended previous Nordic EV Summits and EVs and Beyond has often featured updates.
