ChargeNet has taken over four Northland EV charging sites previously owned by Job Complete Ltd and EV Transport Ltd.

The sites are at 16 Williams Road in Paihia, Tutukaka, the Whangārei waterfront and Mangawhai. ChargeNet took ownership on 22 October, and the chargers are now part of its network and maintenance programme.

From Friday 30 October, charging at all four sites will cost $0.90 per kWh including GST, in line with ChargeNet’s standard pricing.

In an email to previous users of the chargers, ChargeNet said it would tell customers if any changes or upgrades were confirmed for the sites. It thanked Job Complete and EV Transport for their early investment in charging in the region.

It is the second takeover of locally owned charging sites by ChargeNet in recent weeks. Last month it took over seven Alpine Energy sites in South Canterbury, from Mt Cook to Waimate.
