AI in Action

September’s Artificial Intelligence Summit was themed “AI in Action”, aimed at informing and involving people.

Using AI in business across New Zealand, possible inclusion of an AI strategy nationally (the AI Forum’s role was acknowledged in a Digital Strategy for Aotearoa released on September 14), and the future focus of technology, were among topics.

AI is often used in driverless vehicles (aka autonomous vehicles) as well as other transport forms.

The AI Forum-run summit was held as a hybrid event with options for attending in person or virtually with an attendance of more than 200.

Video of the Auckland summit is available for those who registered with access information sent via email.
