The Audi Q6 e-tron SUV is the first of 15 new models to be launched by Audi by the end of 2026.
Audi Q6 e-tron variants the Advanced (Q6 e-tron) and S-Line (Q6 e-tron quattro S line) are due here early next year, priced from $134,990 and $155,990 respectively.
“For the first time in New Zealand, Audi will offer a medium-sized fully electric SUV – allowing us to target the most popular car segment in our market,” says Audi New Zealand general manager Greg Leet.
“Built on the new PPE platform, this is an exciting step for Audi.
“We will set a new standard in the premium segment, offering unparalleled performance, design and technology at a competitive price.”
The Q6 e-tron Advanced will be the introduction to the range starting at an MRP of $134,990 with rear-wheel drive, 225kW output and a 210km/h top speed. It accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds.
Standard features include 19-inch wheels, privacy glass, and contrast paint in Mythos Black.
Customers will receive an impressive lighting package including Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators and customisable daytime running light signatures.
The Q6 e-tron S line offers quattro all-wheel drive as standard with 285kW output, a 210km/h top speed and accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds.

For the first time, Audi will include an MMI passenger display as standard across both variants which also come with pack options to upgrade to larger wheels, a panorama sunroof, and full body paint or black exterior styling package.
The comfort pack will include headrest speakers, ventilated seats and connected experience pro in the Advanced including Bang & Olufsen premium audio.
Powerful, compact, and highly efficient electric motors, as well as a newly developed lithium-ion battery consisting of 12 modules and 180 prismatic cells ensure a range of up to 567km on the Q6 e-tron quattro S line and 638km on the Q6 e-tron Advanced.
The 800-volt technology allows up to 270kW DC charging capacity, standard on both variants.
Up to 255km can be recharged in 10 minutes at an appropriate high power charging (HPC) station where the state of charge (SoC) increases from 10% to 80% in about 27 minutes. AC charging with up to 11kW is possible at standard home chargers.
The interior is geared towards user needs with the Audi MMI panoramic display and the MMI passenger display standard on both variants.
Plenty of storage space is offered and the trunk provides 526 litres with storage increased to 1529 litres with the rear seat bench folded down.
