Australia proposes New Vehicle Efficiency Standard
The Australian federal government is proposing its version of the New Zealand Clean Car Standard and it is not winning universal support from the automotive industry and other stakeholders, although the Electric Vehicle Council says the change promises greater choice and lower fuel bills.
Public submissions on the proposed New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) close at 11.59pm on March 4, 2024.
