The Project V electric coupé and EV Seven fully electric concept cars will make their first public appearance on the Caterham stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed July 13-16.

They will be displayed alongside Caterham’s current Seven line-up, the brand’s 50th anniversary MP45 C50 watch and new merchandise range.

EV Seven is the brand’s technology development concept that trials battery electric technology in a modified Seven 485 chassis.

Project V is a fully electric sports coupé concept that showcases work by chief designer Anthony Jannarelly. The show car has been built by Italian engineering firm Italdesign in Turin.

Many other EVs will also debut, including those from MG, or feature at Goodwood.

“This year’s Festival of Speed will be hugely exciting for Caterham because it’s the first time that Project V and EV Seven will be seen by the general public,” says Caterham chief executive Bob Laishley.

“We’ll also be celebrating our 50 years of the brand with the display of models from our existing line-up, and our stunning 50th Anniversary watch created by this year’s Roadsport Championship sponsor VERTEX Watches.”

The Caterham watch’s Tachymeter Timing Dial enables users to measure speed based on time elapsed over a fixed distance, and the dial has a design reflecting motorsport heritage and Caterham’s 50th anniversary emblem.
