ChargeNet NZ opens Dual 300kW hyperchargers at Bombay
ChargeNet NZ has installed a pair of Dual 300kW hyperchargers at the Bombay Service Centre each capable of charging three vehicles simultaneously.
Each station can charge two CCS vehicles at up to 300kW and one Chademo vehicle at up to 62kW, allowing charging for up to six EVs at the Bombay Service Centre.
The project is supported by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) through round 6 of the low emission vehicles contestable fund.
Specific EV models can charge considerably faster than on ChargeNet’s standard 50kW charging stations, including the Porsche Taycan, Jaguar I-Pace, Hyundai Kona, Mercedes EQC and Tesla Model 3.
The hyperchargers are now live and an official opening of ChargeNet NZ’s Bombay project is planned in a few weeks.

Hi, East SH2 from the bottom of the Bombay’s there are no charges until Waihi and that is far to long for a Leaf
Great- need more of these, chargers are great but demand will increase and its frustrating turning up to a charging station and finding someone has beat you to it.
