ABB presented its industry-leading portfolio of digital solutions, ABB Ability, at the May 8 function in the SkyCity Convention Centre, attended by more than 200 customers.

The portfolio is designed to improve operating efficiencies and empower the digital transformation of customers.

An exhibition of innovative digital and industrial technology was held, all designed with the goal of improving efficiencies, lowering operating costs and enhancing competitive advantage.

Innovations were covered that advance the digital grid of the future and integration of renewable energy, intelligent manufacturing along with software-defined machines to smart sensors, cloud services and smart buildings.

The event featured a range of national and international speakers including Microsoft digital transformation manager Matt Furse who engaged the audience on future thinking and the use of the Internet of Things, Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence as accelerators and disruptors for change.
