Geely EX5 expected in Australia first half of 2025 and likely here too
The Geely EX5 electric SUV will be launched in Australia in the first half of next year.
So says The Driven which reckons pricing and specifications will be released closer to the launch.
Geely aims to have several EVs in Australia and New Zealand shortly, including a battery electric ute.
Meanwhile, Omoda Jaecoo’s E5 EX and E5 BX were showcased at the Take Charge Expo at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre on November 23 and 24.
About 78,000 EVs have been sold in New Zealand from January to October 2024 and 1248 public charging units are available across the country, says Omoda Jaecoo, adding the E5 EX is available here for $44,990 plus on-road costs (OCR) for a limited time as part of a $10,000 end of year discount.
