Hamilton EV dealership faces liquidation bid
A liquidation application by vehicle importer and wholesaler Key Alliance Pro advertised in the New Zealand Gazette brought against Hamilton Electric Vehicles (EV) will be heard in the Tauranga High Court on Monday February 26.
Key Alliance Pro manager Glenn Keatley declined to comment on why his company was taking the action as he didn’t want to prejudice the court hearing, the Waikato Times reports, adding Hamilton EV managing director Nicholas Down is also revealing little about the dispute, which he says has its origins about two years ago.
The Waikato Times says Down won’t be able to speak about the issue until after a counter claim against Key Alliance Pro is heard on March 8.
Key Alliance Pro is the trading company behind some IBC and AutoTerminal activities in New Zealand, making the debt likely related to wholesale vehicles.
