Hitachi invests millions into Australian mining
Close to one billion dollars has been invested into the Australian mining industry by one of the world’s leading manufacturers.
Japanese corporation Hitachi has invested $875 million into the country over the last 18 months with the belief the mining industry will be fully autonomous by 2030, Australian Mining reports.
This will see the rise of autonomous trucks and haulage systems, drone image analysis and other analytics-focused technologies.
