Kia EV6 Air Long Range a popular variant

The Kia EV6 Air Long Range is proving to be the most popular variant in the brand’s electric new model portfolio.

Available with the full Clean Car rebate of $7015, the EV has a futuristic design, advanced technology, exceptional performance, impressive range and a spacious interior, says Kia New Zealand explaining enthusiasm for the EV6 Air Long Range.

“The launch of the EV6 was a game changing moment for Kia,” says Kia New Zealand managing director Todd McDonald. 

“It was the arrival of a dynamic and eye-catching new model bristling with technology and the capability to do what very few competitors could – transport people in safety, comfort and style more than 500km on a single charge. 

“Thanks to its large 77.4kWh battery which delivers up to an impressive driving range of 528km WLTP, it offers driving freedom and removes concerns about range anxiety,” McDonald adds.

“It is the car which shifted perceptions about electric vehicles and continues to win hearts and minds with its impressive array of future focussed attributes.”

The Kia EV6 Air Long Range has an aerodynamic shape, futuristic LED lighting and clean lines exuding a sense of style and sophistication, making it one of the most attention grabbing cars on the market, says Kia NZ.

It adds the EV is packed with technology, from its advanced driver-assistance systems to its Integrated 12.3-inch TFT colour LCD infotainment system and 12.3-inch TFT LCD dash cluster, wireless smartphone charging pad, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition and a range of driver-assistance features.

A comprehensive set of safety features is included, counting towards its five-star Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) rating.

The vehicle features ultra-fast charging capabilities, capable of a top-up charge of 100km in less than five minutes when using a DC 350kW charger.

The Kia EV6 Air Long Ranger can sprint from zero to 100kmh in 7.3 seconds.

Using Kia’s electric-global modular platform (E-GMP), the EV has ample cabin space for both passengers and cargo.  Its flexible interior layout maximises space and ensures a comfortable, the design making it one of the roomiest EV in its segment, says Kia NZ.

“The Kia EV6 also comes with an international award-winning reputation, receiving prestigious awards such as the Red Dot ‘Innovative Products’ award, the Red Dot Awards ‘Best of the Best’ title and European Car of the Year 2022,” says McDonald, adding it has also gained several New Zealand awards.

Priced from $79,990 (plus on-road costs), the EV6 Air Long Range is available at Kia dealers.

Kia’s EV6 range has a five-year/150,000km warranty, five-year roadside assistance and eight-year/ 160,000km battery warranty.
