KIA EV9 wins WWCOTY 2024 Supreme Award

The Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year organisation has recognised the Kia EV9 as its 2024 Best Car of the Year.

WWCOTY jury members Shereen Shabnam (UAE), Nicole Wakelin (USA) and Sandy Myhre (NZ) – presented the trophy to Mr Teckkoun Kim, Head of Kia Design Next Group – at the Busan International Mobility Show.

Kim says winning the award will further help the recognition of the EV9. 

He says customers recognise the expertise of juries such as the WWCOTY and whether or not an EV or another vehicle will provide the experience buyers want.

The WWCOTY delegation was also interviewed for Kia’s official social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Michael Choo of Kia Brand Communications also interviewed the three Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year jury members.

Myhre says the rigorous process adopted by the voting system proved that EV9 was a clear winner for 2024.

All three judges spoke about the significance of the WWCOTY Award and its potential impact on Kia customers worldwide.
