Lotus has revamped the line-up for its electric Eletre hyper-SUV and Emeya hyper-GT.

The new model range starts from $189,900, available to order now at Lotus Auckland.

Lotus says it offers customers more convenience, clarity, and tailored customisation when configuring their Eletre or Emeya, adding the 600 and 900 model names reflect their power output.

At the same time equipment level references such as “GT SE” and “Sport” return, says the brand.

It says the revised line-up offers customers convenient choice in luxury and tech or pronounced sportiness.

There are now six clearly defined trim levels – Eletre 600, 600 GT SE and 600 Sport SE, as well as 900 Sport and the Eletre 900 Sport Carbon as the absolute flagship, with the Lotus Emeya following the same nomenclature, says Lotus.

“Complementing these well-defined trim levels, customers can further customise their vehicle to their own personal use and customise it to their own taste thanks to a wide selection of optional packages, individual options and colours.

“New colours in the pallet are Zenith White and Akoya White for the Eletre, while interior-wise, customers can now also opt for the Quartz and Jasper interior themes with the new LOTUSWEAR Performance Fabric for the seats.”

With a maximum 610km range (WLTP) the two Lotus models are well suited for long electric road trips, says Lotus.

The Emeya with its 800Volt battery technology and Advanced Lotus Hyper Charging can be charged from 10%-80% in about 14 minutes using a 400kW DC charger.

A signature element of the Eletre and Emeya designs is their ‘porosity’ – the aerodynamic principle of air flowing through, under, over, and around the vehicle, says Lotus.
