A Mercedes-Benz electric limo is expected to be launched in about two years.
On sale as soon as 2020, according to Autocar, the limo will be about S-Class size, but a new model rather than a variant.

It will be made under the EQ brand, based on a new platform to be used for the EQ SUV, EQ A-Class hatchback and C-Class smaller sedan range.
The electric car fits with Daimler chief executive officer Dr Dieter Zetsche’s plans to introduce 10 electric EQ models by 2025.
It’s expected to be built at Daimler’s EV plant in Bremen, while the lithium-ion battery packs are expected from subsidiary Accumotive.
Overseas media reports the car could have a 600km or more range, with two electric motors pushing it to 100km/h in under three seconds.
