New VW ID.Buzz here early next year
Volkswagen celebrates the rebirth of the Kombi with the introduction of the new electric ID.Buzz available in New Zealand in early 2025.
“The ID.Buzz is an electric vehicle for future generations, and will continue to shape our legacy,” says Volkswagen New Zealand Commercial Vehicles general manager Kevin Richards.
The ID.Buzz offers five, six or seven-seats and the ID.Buzz Cargo aims to make sustainable mobility practical in the commercial vehicle segment, providing a cargo van built for functionality with a 650kg payload and enough space to accommodate two Euro pallets, and enhanced loading capabilities.
The ID.Buzz Cargo won the ‘International Van of the Year 2023’ before its market launch.

Volkswagen New Zealand says customers have already registered their interest here to find out more.
Both ID.Buzz models reinforce Volkswagen’s dedication to sustainability, craftsmanship, and innovation featuring 100% electric carbon-friendly performance and recycled materials, says VWNZ.
IQ.Light LED matrix headlights which give a friendly eye blink on arrival and the largest sunroof in a Volkswagen are among ID.Buzz highlights, says VW, adding it will arrive at VW dealerships early next year.
