Omoda X to be revealed at Chery’s User Summit in China

Omoda will reveal its new X model at the Chery Group International User Summit, which runs from October 18 to 24.

Design sketches of the Omoda X concept SUV

Omoda will show a new model called the Omoda X at the Chery Group International User Summit in China next week, and EVs and Beyond will be there to see it.

The summit runs from October 18 to 24 and brings dealers, owners and media from around the world to see the group’s latest products and technology.

Omoda has released only design sketches so far. The brand says the X takes its current design language further, mixing sports car and off-roader cues with sharp geometric lines. It has not said what will power it, or whether it is a concept or a production model.

The summit will also include Omoda Jaecoo’s annual endurance drive, in which selected media cover a long distance in the brand’s Super Hybrid models. This year that includes the Omoda 4 SHS-H and the Omoda 7 SHS-H, which debuts new hybrid technology with a 5kWh battery.
