Ora Good Cat NZ pricing

Pre-orders are open for the Ora Good Cat EV, priced from $49,990 plus on-road costs.

A Clean Car Standard rebate of up to $8625 is available on this model with registrations of interest invited here.

Ora is a new Chinese brand by the Great Wall Motor GWM group reported to bring premium EV technology to everyone.

The retro model will have the latest driver technology and is expected to line up with a two-model range (Good Cat and Good Cat GT).

Ora EVs are built on dedicated EV architecture, offering fast charging and a significant driving range estimated at about 330km from the 48kWh battery.

Energy efficiency is estimated to be 15.8kWh/100km.

Robert Llewellyn of The Fully Charged Show, coming to Sydney on March 11 and 12, did a video review of the Ora Funky Cat, as the Good Cat is badged in Europe.

It gained a top Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) safety rating.

The Ora Good Cat was initially slated to arrive late last year.
