PepsiCo ramping Tesla Semi fleet with 50 more units

PepsiCo Beverages North America is more than tripling its EV fleet and will include another 50 Tesla Semi electric trucks.

The company says the Tesla Semis will be introduced over the next few months to operate out of its manufacturing and distribution facility in Fresno, California.

PepsiCo has been trialling the heavy rigs since last year alongside electric yard tractors, Ford E-Transit service vans and electric forklifts.

About 75 Ford E-Transit electric vans will be included to serve a variety of applications, including sales deliveries and service support.
