Rivian’s smallest EV van spotted
Rivian’s smallest electric delivery van, the EDV 500, has been spotted in a video posted to social media ahead of its official rollout.
So far, the vehicle manufacturer has only revealed its larger EDV 700 model which is being put to use in Amazon’s delivery fleet.
The custom vehicles are made at Rivian’s Illinois plant and Amazon intends to have fleet of more than 100,000 units by 2030.

The EDV 500 will be the manufacturer’s smaller offering, while a larger EDV 900 is also being pitched but hasn’t yet entered production.
It’s expected the EDV 500 will be officially launched sometime in the first half of 2023.
