Smart charging and V2X at Nordic EV Summit in May

Nordic-EV-Summit-May-2023-

Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) bi-directional charging and smart charging will be covered in depth at the Nordic EV Summit 2023 in Oslo, Norway, May 4-5.

The session on May 5, 12.15-1300, features five speakers and aims to answer questions about V2X and smart charging.

“We would argue that the technological revolution has started, but how can these new technologies contribute to green, stable power supply and grid connections, without expecting too much from the EV drivers?”

Fully Charged Show founder and chief executive Robert Llewellyn and Norwegian EV Association secretary general Christina Bu open the summit programme, providing an insight into what’s new in the EV world.

Dubbed Northern Europe’s largest conference on electric mobility, the summit intends to enlighten guests and propel companies into the future of zero emission travel.

Who should have access to the data from connected cars and how should it be used, and how fast can we power the entire transport sector with 100% renewable energy are some questions to be answered.

A seminar also covers how Norway transitioned to e-mobility, including policies which worked and those that didn’t; and accessible charging for everyone – including Norway’s plans for fast charging stations everywhere with universal design and payment methods while avoiding queuing.
